In November we began our Active Break Every Day 4-week challenge. Pupils engaged with the Dare to Believe School Programme and individual classes completed a range of activities to suit to the pupils.

Special Olympics
Athletes participated in a Special Olympics Athletics training day in Sligo. After an intense day of competition, everyone was awarded for their efforts put in on the track and field. With beaming smiles, they recieved their awards. Much thanks to the organisers. We are delighted to be getting back into competing and involved in Special Olympics again.
Special Olympics
Table tennis
Today marked a very special day for our school with the return to Special Olympics. Our wonderful athletes represented St. Michael's School at a Special Olympics Table Tennis Event held in Castlebar today. There was great excitement on the athlete's faces as they got to step back onto the podium to receive their awards. A huge thank you to all of the organisers, volunteers, umpires and coaches on a very well organised event. We are very proud of our athletes! Looking forward to our next Special Olympics Event!
Motor activities development day
Athletes travelled to Creggs NS for a Motor Activities Development Day. We had a wonderful time exploring the selection of activities available. A super start to our SPecial Olympics journey this year!
Ball Skills
Feel good friday
Pupils enjoy Feel Good Friday activities by participating in yoga, pilates and meditation.
